Pekanbaru, - Manajemen PT Ivo Mas Tunggal (IMT) memberikan klarifikasi sehubungan peristiwa bentrok Tim Keamanan PT Ivo Mas Tunggal versus warga Sakai Sakai baru-baru ini.

Terkait berita yang menyatakan bahwa security PT Ivo Mas Tunggal (IMT) melakukan pemukulan yang brutal kepada warga Suku Sakai adalah tidak benar. 

Security PT IMT mencoba menghentikan aksi segerombolan orang yang mencuri brondolan sawit di lahan milik PT IMT menggunakan sepeda motor. Namun, saat security menegur dan melarang, oknum tersebut marah dan melawan dengan melakukan pemukulan serta melempar batu. 

Security PT IMT meminta bantuan untuk mengamankan lokasi dan mencegah brondolan dibawa kabur oleh oknum pelaku. 

"Kami berkomitmen untuk melakukan tindakan persuasif dalam menangani kejadian yang terjadi di seluruh perkebunan PT IMT sesuai dengan regulasi dan hukum yang berlaku. Dan menyayangkan tindakan kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh oknum suku Sakai terhadap petugas security kami. Kami mengimbau kepada masyarakat di sekitar wilayah kerja PT IMT jika memasuki wilayah PT IMT diharapkan menghubungi pihak petugas security," kata Humas PT Ivo Mas Tunggal Agung. (tim)

The security team of PT IMT was attempting to intervene when a group of individuals used a motorcycle to steal loose oil palm fruits from PT IMT's property. Despite the security's efforts to advise and prevent this, the individual became agitated and responded with violence, resorting to physical aggression and throwing stones.

In response to this situation, PT IMT security promptly sought assistance to safeguard the area and deter any further attempts to remove the loose fruits by the offenders.

"We are dedicated to taking appropriate measures to address any incidents that may arise within the PT IMT plantations, adhering to all relevant regulations and laws. We deeply regret the violent actions carried out by members of the Sakai tribe against our security personnel.
